Text Box: The Yaeger Clinic has provided quality, affordable general practice health care with an emphasis on health maintenance through natural preventative techniques and proper nutrition. Originally established in the 1928 in Long Island, N. Y., it was relocated to Miami, Florida in 1956 by complementary medicine pioneers Dr. Carl Yaeger, Jr., and the late Dr. Carl Yaeger, Sr. It ranks as one of Miami's oldest and most respected health clinics. The Yaeger Clinic building has been a fixture in the community since 1958 and serves as the headquarters of The Yaeger Companies. A major goal in our expansion is the construction of a modern multipurpose facility on the site of the existing building. Floors of this complex will dedicated to the following. The MEDICAL CENTER will offer affordable health care such as preventative medicine and maternity services in partnership with health care providers; The EDUCATIONAL CENTER will offer career training in health care and other fields, provided in partnership with major educational institutions; and The TECHNOLOGY CENTER will increase commerce and employment opportunities. The NATIONAL MEDICAL MUSEUM will educate and motivate the public via a variety of exhibits and programs about the contributions of minority health care pioneers. The Museum’s entrance will face M. L. King Boulevard and incorporate the front face of the existing Yaeger Clinic building. Exhibits will include examining rooms and equipment representing 1900-1980. Archives will house documents, books and other memorabilia from private practitioners, hospitals and historically Black medical schools.
