TECHNOLOGY LEADERS INITIATIVE PROGRAM The Technology Leaders Initiative provides unique hands-on invention and entrepreneurship workshops to students of all ages. Participants are guided through the creation, development and marketing of their own products and businesses. The result is a real-world learning experience, which is enhanced by the opportunity to earn profits and build a career. Schools and organizations contract to receive the Technology Leaders Initiative program. Partners and funders have included Florida International University, Miami Dade County Public Schools, the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, and the Dade Community Foundation. |
YAEGER PROSTHETIC ARM PROGRAM The Yaeger Prosthetic Arm Program develops medical devices and products that will benefit mankind. The primary product is the Yaeger Prosthetic Arm for upper-limb amputees. This patented, award-winning design features electrically powered hand, wrist, and elbow joints controlled by the wearer's nerve impulses. One of our projects—developing prosthetic arms for an 11-year-old girl born without upper limbs—has received international recognition via CNN, The Today Show, MSNBC, Jet magazine, and People magazine |
